Pathos
Pathos advertisement This is a good example of a pathos by targeting the human emotion of wanting to avoid injury. No one thinks about the consequences of drinking and driving, mostly because it may come as a shock to someone what can happen by taking this risk. When the consequences are shown it makes ones brain start to think and really value the health of themselves and the public.

In this case the absence of sound catches your attention and makes it more serious. The over exaggeration of the girls condition shocks the audience. The girl's friend also talks to the camera man as if her friend is dead and this effects the viewer in a negative way.
